Product Design & Branding Project
AMIRA

Amira is a personal product design & branding project born from my love of perfume.
As a dual product design and branding project, I was able to use my experience in both.

A Two-Fold Project
Amira is a personal product design & branding project born from my love of perfume.
I first began with product design - where I sketched packaging silhouettes, researched materials and manufacturing processes.
Once the Solidworks Model was fully defined and rendered, the task of making a brand around the product began. Although unconventional, I realized this personal product design project was the perfect branding challenge as a budding graphic designer.

AMIRA means "princess", or "commander" in Arabic.
The concept for this perfume line was "ancient beauty", drawing from the rich scent tradition from the middle east.
The main inspiration was egyptian-stylized lotus flowers, which often represent rebirth and resilence. The handle, as well as the wall embossing elements are inspired by Middle Kingdom & Amarna period artwork.
See in the image on either side the similarites between the closure silhouette and the lotus symbol.
