What is Borderlands?

Borderlands is a brand and packaging system I created out of my love of Washington wines. In this project I did market research, brand creation and strategy, logo design, and packaging design.

My biggest inspiration was the physical geography of the PNW, which I used as a key differentiator on the packaging.

Look Familiar?

I used hand-drawn versions of the Puget Sound and Mount Baker to include a old-world map like feel to the packaging, signifying quality, tradition and a connection to the land.
